Representatives of The Sarah Jackson Community Wish will be walking the Otley Carnival this year in Sarah’s name and shaking buckets for the Otley Carnival Fund during the parade.

Following the procession, down at the Carnival Field (Bridge End) the Sarah Jackson Community Wish team will have a stall including a tombola where we will be raising money for the Community Wish and Otley Community. Please come along and say hello!

Otley Carnival was an event Sarah was very much part of, from her days on the Otley Playscheme float, as the Carnival Queen herself, and latterly as a member of the Carnival Committee.

For the very first time, Otley Carnival 2024 will include ‘Sarah’s Stars’, chosen from the younger members of our community to continue carrying out good deeds in Sarah’s memory, around and about our town, something very close to her heart.
